Restorative

Your smile today may not be as brilliant as it once was. Years of wear and tear, injury, or poor care can hurt the look and function of your teeth. Dr.’s Walker and Kraus and their team change lives every day through restorative dentistry. Rejuvenate your smile today!

Implants

A dental implant can be used to restore a single tooth or an entire set of teeth. Dental implants involve the placement of a surgical grade titanium post(s) directly into the jawbone by one of our trusted specialists. As the bones bonds to the post(s) it forms a secure foundation for the attachment of a dental prosthetic (crown, bridge or denture) that is custom created for you.

Implant Supported Denture

While typical dentures shift and may require the use of denture adhesives to keep them in place, implants supported dentures fit solidly, reducing the problems associated with traditional dentures, such as gum sores, difficulty speaking and chewing.

Dentures

A proper fitting denture is very important. A good fir ensures that your dentures will allow you to retain much of your function, which is important for maintaining natural muscle tone in your face and jaw. Dentures will keep you looking and feeling healthy. A natural-looking smile, maybe even nicer than your original smile, and the best possible fit are two of the primary goals that your doctor will achieve if you need dentures.

Partial Dentures

You will be pleased with how your new partial denture will restore the gaps in your smile from missing teeth-even gaps that cannot be corrected by a bridge. Your partial denture will be removable and will be made from a synthetic material supported by lightweight metal that mimics both your gum tissue and your teeth, giving you a beautiful new smile. The partial denture will preserve the integrity of your existing teeth by preventing them from shifting and tilting in towards the gaps created by your missing teeth.

Crowns

Your teeth undergo a tremendous amount of stress during your lifetime. Teeth may show this wear in a variety of ways, including discoloration, chipping, and cracking. Crowns restore your teeth to function normally and look beautiful once again. Porcelain crowns can be made from porcelain fused to metal or out of all porcelain and can be shaded to math your teeth. Crowns made of precious metal (gold) are also an option. After some tooth preparation (or impact placement), crowns are specifically fitted to restore function and enhance the appearance of your smile. If you have pain when chewing or temperature sensitivity, ask Dr.’s Walker and Kraus if crowns are right for you.

Bridges

When teeth are missing, your smile undergoes significant changes. Missing teeth can make it difficult to chew food efficiently. And, as your remaining teeth work to compensate for the loss they experience more wear than they were designed to withstand. A porcelain bridge (custom designed by our team) keeps your smile aligned and your bite functional. Bridges are anchored to existing teeth (or implants) on either side of the missing tooth. They are semi-permanent-meaning they can only be affixed or removed by a dentist-and are a long-term, restorative solution to your damaged smile.
